Rutgers Students

Through The Conversation Tree Program, Rutgers students have the exciting opportunity to serve as English Conversation Facilitators within community-based organizations offering ESL (English as a Second Language) services while receiving academic credit. Students are prepared to facilitate intercultural conversations through courses offered at Rutgers Graduate School of Education.

Learn more about our academic courses, service-learning and becoming an English conversation facilitator.

Applications are accepted year round for the Fall/Spring program!  Attend one of our Info Sessions/Group Interviews to learn more.  At each session, an overview of the program will be given and students interested in applying will have an opportunity to submit their application and participate in a group interview.  If interested in joining us for an info session/group interview, please fill out the form found here and the coordinator of the program will contact you  to confirm your attendance at an info session.  View the presentation from our Info Sessions here!
